International Forum: Cloud Computing, Big Data, and AI in Realising an Intelligent Society
Funded by the Professional Services Advancement Support Scheme (PASS) of HKSAR, HKITIC (FHKI Group 25) organised the “International Forum: Cloud Computing, Big Data and AI in Realising an Intelligent Society” at Hong Kong Science Park on 29 March. Dr David Chung, Under Secretary for Innovation and Technology, HKSAR was the Guest-of-Honour of the Forum. Jason Pun, Assistant Government Chief Information Officer (Cyber Security and Standards), HKSAR was invited to deliver keynote speech on big data applications by the Government. Several speakers from Alibaba Cloud, IBM, Huawei, NVIDIA and CLP shared their latest practices of big data analytics and AI. Peter Yeung, Head of Electronics and ICT Cluster, Smart City Platform, Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation chaired the panel discussion on how SMEs can adopt these platforms for their business development. Showcase demonstrations on big data analytics were arranged during the Forum.
